Tuesday, November 18, 2025 - MTC will be Migrating Catskill.net Customers to a new & Improved Platform 

 

We’re excited to announce that MTC is upgrading your email service to a new and improved webmail platform! This upgrade is part of our continued commitment to provide you with a secure, reliable, and easy-to-use email experience.

 

Here’s what this upgrade means for you:

You’ll enjoy a modern webmail interface designed to make managing your email simpler and more intuitive. The new platform also delivers stronger spam protection, enhanced account security, and better overall performance and reliability. In addition, system improvements will help us provide faster and more efficient customer support whenever you need assistance.

 

What to Expect:

Your email address will remain the same, and most customers will continue using their existing password. A small number of users may receive a new password by mail if an update is required to meet new security standards. Your current emails and saved contacts will automatically transfer to the upgraded platform, though older messages may take a few days to fully appear after migration. During the transition, you’ll still be able to send and receive emails as usual with minimal disruption.

You should have or will be receiving the 2nd and final notice of this migration through one of two letters in the mail by Friday, 11/14/2025. If we were able to preserve your email password, you will login as usual. If we were unable to retrieve your password, the letter will have your email address and your new password printed. Please see below links to examples of the letters that were sent.
