Watch TV Everywhere (WTVE) FAQs

What is WTVE?

It is television programming that is available on something other than a TV set.  This means you can watch MTC Television programming on your desktop, laptop, tablet or phone.

How do I get WTVE?

It is easy to start using WTVE. The first step is registration. Go to:  https://www.watchtveverywhere.com/index.php

Your first time visiting, you will be asked to select your provider, click on MTC Cable.  Then, click on "Register." You will need two pieces of information to register: Your account number with MTC and the correct spelling of the last name on your account. The best thing to do is have your latest invoice from MTC handy. Enter the verification code seen in the box to the right.

You will be asked to enter your User Information:

  • Enter your first and last name.

  • Create your password and retype your password.

  • Select a password reset question.

  • Provide the password reset answer.

  • Provide an email address. This will be your user name. This can be any valid email address.

  • Retype your email address.

  • Click Register.

Now, check the email address you just provided. You will find an email message with your WTVE activation link. Click on the link to complete the registration process.

You may have up to 4 users registered on each TV service account. The first user must be the named account holder, age 18 or older and will be considered the Primary User. You are done and can begin to enjoy WTVE.

It is important that you keep your username and password confidential. Use of your credentials by others will result in loss of WTVE privileges.

To WTVE:

How much does it cost and how does this effect my mobile data plan?

There is no extra cost for WTVE.  You only need to be a subscriber to MTC Television programming.  Be sure to check with your mobile carrier regarding data limits and streaming.    WTVE programs transmit a lot of data which can become expensive if you have a limited data plan.

How many devices can I use?

There is no limit to the number of devices you can use, but there are only 4 users registered to each account.  However, certain television networks my limit the number of devices that you can use at the same time.

What program are available on WTVE?

Each television network decides what to offer of WTVE.  For example, CNN live is available.  However, TBS live programming is not and they only offer full episodes of their most popular programs.  MTC is working with many different program providers to expand the number of networks and the number of program available on WTVE.  Registered users get a complete list of the networks available to them.

Why are all programs available on WTVE?

A television network doesn't necessarily own all of the rights to all of their programming.  For instance, a network might have the right to broadcast a movie to televisions but not to other electronic devices, so once again, it depends on the network and programming.
