Alerts, Education and More with MTC


First, “Thank You” to our awesome subscribers from all of us at MTC. Our goal is to give you a great customer experience and to keep you informed while providing you with the area’s best high-speed internet, cable television and phone services.

That’s why we are now offering multiple ways for you to stay connected to us and answer your questions. If you haven’t yet, please be sure to like our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/MargaretvilleTelephoneCompany/) and check out our Website (https://www.mtctelcom.com/). Both digital sources will provide you with information for such things as current outages, scheduled system maintenance, answers to frequently asked question and educational videos/tutorials for help at your home or office.

We have just launched our first educational video on "How to Scan Your TV" (https://www.mtctelcom.com/channel-scan). It guides you, step-by-step, so you can see how it’s done and try it yourself. Easy to watch and learn. And this is just the first of many that we are in the process of developing.

Next Tuesday, September 3rd, we will be launching the first in a series called “TiVo Tip Tuesday”. Every Tuesday, a new tip will be posted on Facebook about the functions of the TiVo set top box. There are so many features to this device, we’ll be sure to surprise you with something. Then a log of TiVo Tip Tuesday slides will be available on our website to refer to when you need them.

And lastly, frequently asked questions. Our Customer Service Team is happy to answer your questions over the phone, but we also want to give you a way to research them on our website (https://www.mtctelcom.com/faqs). This is currently a work in progress and will grow as more questions come in. So, for instance, if you’re having trouble with your remote, we’ll have a section on that. Want to find out how to sign up for on-line payments, there’s a section for that too!
