Getting Started with TiVo

  • Live TV

    • If you're watching a show as it's being broadcast, you're watching live TV.  You can pause live TV for up to 30 minutes on each tuner.  When you resume watching, you're "behind" live TV, however you can alwasy get to live TV by pressing the LIVE TV button on your remote.

  • Streaming

    • When you watch shows from apps like Netflix and from Vu-It VOD, you're "streaming" the shows from that souorce.  You can also stream recordings saved on your TiVo DVR to your mobile device, or stream shows and live TV from a  TiVo DVR to another TiVo client box in a different room.

  • Network Connection

    • Your TiVo DVR can connect to your home network through a wired connection using an Ethernet.  The client box requires a wired connection.
